Starlink Denial

Degrading Starlink locally — terminal denial & positioning interference

A layered capability set for degrading Starlink service, interfering with terminal positioning, and hunting terminals until their operation becomes dangerous enough that users stop transmitting.

Capability OverviewDemo Environment

Blocking the receipt of Starlink satellite signals

We have the ability to degrade Starlink locally, interfere with terminal positioning, hunt terminals, and make their operation dangerous enough that users may stop transmitting. The layered approach below combines satellite jammers and fake GPS signals used against Starlink — targeting the radio link, the positioning receivers, and the terminals themselves.

Operational Note

All techniques described here are for authorized sovereign and lawful use only. Deployment requires legal authority under the applicable jurisdiction.

Denial Techniques

Each technique targets a different layer of the Starlink terminal's operation — from the satellite radio link to the GNSS positioning receivers and the terminal infrastructure itself.

01 · RF Jamming

Starlink RF Jamming

Target
Satellite ↔ terminal radio link
Effect
Packet loss, reduced throughput, intermittent or no service
Scope
Usually localized / regional
02 · GNSS Jamming

GNSS Jamming

Target
Terminal's GPS / GNSS reception
Effect
Location / timing problems, impaired acquisition & operation
Scope
Potentially broad, with collateral effects
03 · GNSS Spoofing

GNSS Spoofing

Target
Feeds terminal false positioning signals
Effect
Terminal may believe it is elsewhere; unstable connectivity
Scope
Local / regional
04 · Direction Finding

RF Direction Finding

Target
Detect terminal transmissions
Effect
Finds suspected terminals rather than disconnecting them
Scope
Surveillance area
05 · Cyberattack

Cyberattack

Target
Terminal / network infrastructure
Effect
Potential service disruption
Scope
Variable

How the layers combine

STEP 01
Degrade the satellite ↔ terminal radio link
STEP 02
Jam & spoof the terminal's GNSS reception
STEP 03
Detect terminal transmissions via RF DF
STEP 04
Disrupt terminal / network infrastructure
STEP 05
Operation becomes dangerous — users stop transmitting
